John Georgie, perhaps? You must have been somewhere else 'cause Vongerichten's palace is some of the best service in the country. `Overpriced` is a matter of personal opinion, but inventive, delicious food, incredible wait staff and a restauranteur OBSESSED with a perfect environment is why so many stars frequent this place. Denzel, Sting, Stevie Wonder - who haven't I seen in JG's quiet dining room? the $20 prix-fixe at Nougatine (the front room) is ONLY surpassed byt the $35 and $45 prix fixes in the main room. Please do return and do a prix fixe. $45 doesn't even pay for the service!- Is follow up to post by eyeq2020 ...
MOST UNIMPRESSIVE DINING EXPERIENCE
Unskilled wait staff.
Overcrowded dining room.
Overpriced, bland food.
And, I waited an hour past my reser vation time for this.
